12 years since it was launched at the Geneva International Motor Show, Maserati is calling an end to its most successful and iconic range, the GranTurismo and GranCabrio, in its recent history. It does so by launching the final installment in the form of GranTurismo Zeda.

The press release says that it is the bridge which connects the past, the present and the future of the brand. The future is about electrification and autonomous driving.

There is no information on the specification of the Zéda, hence, I am assuming that there is no variation from the current model. The highlight is the fancy paintwork. It is a seamless blend from matt metal finish to eggshell to satin to semi-gloss to mirror-like finish of the classic Maserati Blue on the front.

Certainly a day of mixed emotions. I am glad to be one of the 28,805 proud owners of the GranTurismo.
How do you feel about it? Love to hear your thoughts.
